
Yes, I lost 33 lbs. How did I do it? I started changing my food lifestyle June of 2010. I started counting my "calorie intake." I weigh my food. I eat healthy. I eat a lot of vegies. No to red meat but yes to chicken breast and fish. No to rice but yes to wheat bread and root crops like sweet potato and yam. Now I'm enjoying my reward. I was down to 106 lbs. last December. Now I'm 100 lbs. I used to be size 4, now I'm size 2... You think I'm depriving myself of the food I used to enjoy, not at all. I can still enjoy a slice of pizza for dinner, I just opt for a healthier one - all vegies pizza. I still go to Gerry's Grill and enjoy a serving of bangus ala pobre and pinakbet, but no rice please. I'll get my carb from the vegies. From Gerry's I go straight to White Hat for my frozen dessert - half a regular plain Italian frozen yogurt.
I jog 30 minutes or briskwalk 45 inutes to one hour , 3 - 4 times a week. I invested on a pair of good running shoes. Regular exercise helps me have a good night sleep.
The best part is I get to wear the clothes I want to wear. Whenever I go to the shops, I don't ask for the bigger size like I used to. Now I always ask for the smaller size - small or extra small. You think I'm too proud...no, I"m not. I just think I deserve the right to enjoy the fruits of my labor...
